VFS Global has launched six new Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) across Australia, replacing the old centres that closed on 30 June 2026. The new centres offer more counters, extended hours, and stronger digital support for the Indian diaspora and other applicants using consular services in Australia.
Key enhancements include:
- An increased number of service counters and higher staffing capacity
- Greater appointment availability to reduce waiting times
- Extended application submission and collection hours
- Optional facilitation services, including document return, SMS updates, photocopying, photograph services, and form-filling assistance
- Strengthened customer support through a toll-free multilingual contact centre, 24×7 IVR access, and AI-enabled digital support channels
All applicants are required to book appointments online in advance via the official website before visiting a centre. The new Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) are operating from the following locations:
